Mail distribution to Bourail

In addition to the 1,890 mailboxes available, the Bourail agency provides, twice a week, a mobile station circuit in the town to distribute mail in the tribes.

In its program of modernization and rationalization of the mobile post office, the OPT-NC has equipped the municipality with 11 islands of postal boxes (PBI) for a total of 432 postal boxes, thus ensuring the safety and confidentiality of consignments (couriers and parcels) adequately.

Beyond the BP available in agencies or in the islets, the factors also ensure the distribution of mail home in the village of Bourail and in the subdivisions Ballande, Bellevue, La Taraudiere, FSH, to Nékou.

Step by step to equip Bourail 100%

The postal and parcel office of the OPT-NC went to Bourail in June 2015 to present the elected officials and the customary deployment project in the concerned tribes of the municipality. A discussion phase between the town halls, the customary authorities and the OPT-NC began in November 2015 to refine the needs of the tribes involved.

At the launch of the project, only the 6 tribes of the commune were tipped to receive new islands of postal boxes. At the request of the town hall and the customary, 5 localities were added to the implementation project.

Following these meetings, the first studies were launched in May 2016 to determine in a concerted manner the different possible locations.

It was in December 2016, that the first IBP could be installed in the tribes of Azareu, NY and Pothé. On February 18, 2019, the last IBP was installed within the Gouaro tribe.

Thanks to an excellent collaboration between the town hall, the customary and the services of the OPT-NC, the 11 IBPs were installed in all the tribes of Bourail, making the commune the 13th of the territory to be equipped with 100% .
